When I’m in need of a pick-me-up, I throw some berries, kale, and coconut water in my blender. Voila! Energy, happiness, and balance.
I included my favorite recipes in this guide, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

I’m a big fan of lemon and lime juice for adding extra flavor, and cutting the bitterness of some greens.
If you’re crazy about ginger like I am, adding bigger pieces will give your recipe an extra zing. (But start small at first, a little goes a long way!)
And If you’re new to juicing, you can start by adding extra carrots, beets, apples or pears. This’ll give your recipe added sweetness. But don’t worry, your palate will get used to the taste of greens, and will soon be begging you for more!
Frozen blueberries and strawberries are my favorite go-to smoothie ingredients.

How much is enough? The more the merrier. I drink at least 16 ounces of green juice a day. That’s one full drinking glass. No sweat.
In a rush? Make a juice or smoothie before bed and stick it in your fridge. Grab it in the morning as you head out the door.
